Like Italy at home.

Those who think that Italian food is all about tomato sauce have never had the pleasure of sitting down to the flavors, textures and aromas of an authentic Italian meal. It is said that “to eat in Italy is to eat history,” for so many races and nations have occupied la Bella Italia through the centuries, and each has left something of itself behind.

Michael Angelo’s draws on this rich heritage to craft its recipes and select its ingredients. Taste our Eggplant Parmesan, made with farm-fresh eggplant, vine-ripened tomatoes, layers of premium mozzarella and imported Romano and Parmesan cheeses. Or our Meat Lasagna, made with premium Grade A beef sautéed with fresh garlic and onions, layered with authentic ricotta and mozzarella, durum semolina pasta and our signature tomato sauce, then topped with imported Pecorino Romano.

And when it comes to sauces, Michael Angelo’s is only rivaled by Italy itself. Whether it’s our classic tomato sauce served over manicotti or our thick Bolognese sauce served over roasted chicken, we cook each sauce by hand each morning. It’s part of our sincere promise to make sure every meal arrives on your table as fresh and flavorful as if you had prepared it yourself.

“It’s amazing how simple and pure the food is in Italy.
“ I have two teenaged sons, Michael and Nicco, who went to Italy with us recently. The family gets back, and a few days later, they call me up at work.
‘ Dad, you told us the food was not going to be good when we get back.’
“ And I say, ‘Why, what’s the matter?’
‘ We can’t eat anywhere!’
‘ Whadya mean you can’t eat anywhere?’
‘ Well, we went and had a hamburger, and it tasted like chemicals. We went to this Italian place, and it was horrible… All the food tastes like chemicals and stuff.’
“ And I laughed. It’s really that noticeable. Italy has always done it the old world way – the right way. And that’s what we’re trying to do here.”
