Stuffed Tilapia

Inspired by our travels through the coastal towns of Italy, this recipe is loaded with flavor. Our delicious stuffing is made from a blend of sautéed fresh garlic and onions, spinach, diced tomatoes, buttery crackers, fresh lemon juice and Italian spices. We layer the stuffing between fillets of tilapia and cover it with a flavorful herb-butter sauce made with fresh butter and garlic, roasted red bell peppers and parsley. You're going to love it!

Cooking Instructions


Do not Thaw. Keep Frozen Until Ready to Use. Due to variations in ALL ovens, cooking times and/or temperature may require adjustment.


Microwave
TIME:
For 1 Individual Portion 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 minutes
Note: Wrapper is Oven-Safe.
Leave product in wrapper while cooking.
PLACE stuffed tilapia in film wrapper on microwave-safe plate.
HEAT on HIGH for 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 minutes (rotate once during heating).
CAREFULLY REMOVE plate from microwave
Let stand in wrapper for 1-2 minutes.
CAREFULLY OPEN one end of wrapper and slide stuffed tilapia onto serving plate.
Fish will be white and flaky when fully cooked. Ready to serve with your favorite vegetable and side dish.

Conventional Oven
TIME:
35-40 minutes (for 1 or more portions) PREHEAT oven to 375º.
Note: Wrapper is Oven-Safe.
Leave product in wrapper while cooking.
For best results, do not make venting slit or holes in wrapping.
PLACE stuffed tilapia portions in wrapper in oven safe baking dish.
PLACE on center rack of oven
CAREFULLY REMOVE dish from oven and let stand for 2 minutes.
CAREFULLY CUT or pull open one end of wrapper and slide fish onto serving plate.
Product MUST BE Cooked Thoroughly to 165ºF and fish is white and flaky.
